Angela McCool-Pearson, MD, FACOG

Angela McCool-Pearson, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist specializing in urogynecology and minimally-invasive gynecologic surgeries. She’s a member of the American Urogynecological Society and dedicates her expertise to improving women’s quality of life and sexual health. She has acted as a surgical National Preceptor (clinical educator) for laparoscopic and urogynecology procedures, training her peers in those surgical techniques. She was instrumental in initiating the DaVinci program at Thomas Hospital and has served as a preceptor for Intuitive Surgical as well.  Dr. McCool-Pearson consistently participates in continuing education  for minimally invasive surgery techniques and urogynecology platforms to stay abreast of the most up to date surgical technology nuances and advancements.

 She is an active member of the International Society for the Study of Sexual Women’s Health. She is passionate about intimate health and wants to provide the most up to date technology and resources for her patients. She has been a principle investigator in clinical trials involving new medications for the treatment of endometriosis and symptomatic fibroid tumors since 2015 and serves as a National Speaker for AbbVie Pharmaceuticals.

Most recently Dr. McCool-Pearson has added facial cosmetic services to her list along with the intimate cosmetic services she has long sought additional training in. Learning under Drs. Arthur Swift and Sebastian Cotofana along with several other master injectors, she and Dr. Guepet strive to give their patients the best version of themselves, enhancing the beauty that is already there.

After earning her undergraduate degree in microbiology from Mississippi State University, Dr. McCool-Pearson earned her Medical Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She was consistently recognized for her academic vigor and was named Chief Administrative Resident during her residency.

Outside of the office, Dr. McCool-Pearson loves to relax and spend time with her husband Bill. She has three children Coby, Camille and Cain. She gained two bonus daughters when she and Bill married in 2015, Kristen and Brittany and has one granddaughter, Savannah and a grandson on the way. She and Bill are members of the Greek Orthodox Church.  At 3 Circle Church, she has been actively involved with the Hope Center in it’s local ministry to service underprivileged women in Baldwin County and it’s global ministry in Honduras.

Christy J. Guepet, M.D. FACOG, FPMRS

Christy Guepet, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Guepet grew up in Andalulsia and graduated from Duke University majoring in Biology with a concentration in genetics.  She then earned her Medical Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and completed her residency training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.  Before moving to Fairhope, she practiced general gynecology and urogynecology in Birmingham for over a decade.

Dr. Guepet is passionate about assessing the health and improving the quality of life of patients with her clinical and surgical skills.  She finds helping women through all stages of their lives to be incredibly rewarding, and continues to practice general gynecology in addition to the specialty care required for urogynecological concerns.  She specializes in treatments for menopausal symptoms including hormone replacement therapy, bladder health concerns, intimate health problems, and pelvic floor disorders.  Staying up to date with not only surgical management options but also non-surgical treatments of gynecologic and urogynecologic problems is a professional priority for her. Dr. Guepet has extensive experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques and has been performing advanced laparoscopic surgery since beginning private practice in 2003.  She was an early adopter of the DaVinci Robotic technology for advanced gynecologic surgery, and has been performing robotic hysterectomies and sacrocolpopexies since 2008, being among the first benign gynecologists in the state of Alabama to utilize these techniques.

When Dr. Guepet isn't in the office caring for patients, she cherishes spending time with her husband Tray, and their children, Matthew and Ellie.  Their family enjoys traveling, all types of sports, gardening, and staying active in school and church activities.  She is an avid reader and her faith is an integral part of every aspect of her life, including proudly serving the women of Fairhope and their families.
