Along with her medical partner, Dr. Christy J. Guepet, Dr. McCool-Pearson cofounded a grass roots podcast, ThisIsMenopause ™ to educate, empower and advocate for women by presenting evidence based information with a nuance of humor and real life clinical experience.

Dr. McCool-Pearson is an active member of The Menopause Society and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). She remains committed to staying at the forefront of advances in menopause medicine, hormone therapy, sexual health, and regenerative intimate wellness treatments. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where women feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of their health. In addition to her expertise in menopause and hormone therapy, Dr. McCool-Pearson has served as a national educator and surgical preceptor for minimally invasive gynecologic and robotic procedures and was instrumental in launching the Da Vinci robotic surgery program at Thomas Hospital.

Dr. McCool-Pearson earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Mississippi State University and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She served as Chief Administrative Resident during her residency training and has continued to pursue advanced education throughout her career.

Outside the office, Dr. McCool-Pearson enjoys spending time with her husband, Bill, and their blended family of children and grandchildren. As an active member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, she is dedicated to serving her community and advocating for women’s health. She believes every woman deserves compassionate care and the opportunity to feel healthy confident and vibrant throughout every stage in life.
